Light Machine Guns and Pistols

Wardogs has three LMGs on the Support track in Season 2, the PKM (Support 15, $4,100), M249 SAW (Support 20, $3,200) and new Evo-3 Ultra (Support 30, $7,250), and five pistols on the Wardog track, from the Judge (level 1) and GGX 17 ($200) to the Deagle (level 65) and fully automatic GGX 18 (level 85).

Wardogs has three light machine guns and five pistols in Season 2, per Dexerto's weapon database. The LMGs belong to the Support track: the PKM at Support level 15, the M249 SAW at 20 and Season 2's new Evo-3 Ultra at 30, per Bulkhead's Season 2 patch notes. The pistols unlock on the overall Wardog track, from the Judge revolver at level 1 to the fully automatic GGX 18 at level 85. Season 2 (Oct 15, 2026) made LMG body damage equal to assault rifles, because "LMGs win fights through sustained fire and magazine size, not by out-damaging assault rifles on every shot."

The LMGs are slow to aim: 0.68 s for the M249 and 0.73 s for the PKM, against 0.49 s for the M4, per Dexerto. Season 2 also evened out their torso damage (upper, middle and lower torso had been "too inconsistent") and rebuilt suppression, so near misses from small and medium calibers suppress much more than before, per Bulkhead's notes. Bipods and other parts are on Attachments.

PKM

The PKM was the strongest LMG of Season 1: S tier for Dexerto and KeenGamer, which called it "very strong when bipod-deployed," and A for Destructoid, which found its recoil harder to control than the SAW's. Season 2 cut its 7.62x54mmR damage by 20% (Dexerto now lists a base of 44, where KeenGamer measured 55) but made it far easier to get: Support level 15 for $100,000 instead of level 30 for $150,000, and $4,100 instead of $4,500. It takes a 100 round box. Dexerto's build is the 100 RND Box, 2.5x optic, Orpheus Max Brake and PKM Bipod. In the clip Strider rates the PKM and M249 lower, as heavy guns that shine on a bipod.

M249 SAW

The M249 SAW is the 5.56mm LMG with a 200 round box, 850 RPM and a 700 m range per Dexerto, at $3,200. Season 2 swapped it with the PKM on the track, moving it from Support 15 for $100,000 to Support 20 for $150,000. Destructoid ranked it S in September, Dexerto A. Game Rant's Support guide prefers it to the PKM for its smoother recoil, with the Orpheus Max Brake and a bipod. Its 5.56mm round was not among Season 2's caliber cuts.

Evo-3 Ultra

The Evo-3 Ultra is Season 2's new LMG, a .308 gun "half the weight of the old belt-feds" at 6.3 kg, with a 1,000 m range and 700 RPM per Dexerto. It is the most expensive LMG at $7,250, and its parts fill the top of the Support track: the gun with the Evolys 50 RND Box ($110) at Support level 30 for $200,000, the Evolys Bipod at 33 ($75,000 unlock, $1,450) and the SL7i-BL Suppressor at 40 ($35,000 unlock, $1,400). As of Oct 26, 2026 no approved outlet had ranked it.

Pistols are on the Wardog track, the overall level that all six role levels add up to, per GameSpot (Progression and Unlocks), so they come with playing any role.

Judge and GGX 17

Season 2 swapped these two on the Wardog track: the six-shot .45 Colt Judge revolver moved from level 18 for $15,000 to level 1 for $5,000, and the 9mm GGX 17 from level 1 for $5,000 to level 18 for $15,000. The Judge hits for a base 45 per Dexerto at 200 RPM and $250; the GGX 17 takes a 17 round magazine and costs $200. Game Rant's Season 1 Assault and Recon builds took the GGX 17 as an optional sidearm.

M1911

The M1911 fires .45 ACP at 430 RPM for a base damage of 30, at Wardog level 40 for $25,000 and $300 a life.

Deagle

The Deagle has the heaviest pistol round, .50 AE with a base damage of 63 per Dexerto. Its unlock has come down twice: from Wardog level 90 to 85 in the Season 1 changelog, then to level 65 for $75,000 in Season 2, when its price also fell from $900 to $750. KeenGamer ranked it B, Dexerto C.

GGX 18

The GGX 18 is a fully automatic 9mm pistol at 1,200 RPM, the only pistol Dexerto ranks above C (B); KeenGamer put it and the Deagle in B. Season 2 pushed it from Wardog level 70 for $50,000 to level 85 for $125,000 and raised its price from $800 to $1,000. Game Rant's high-level Assault build carries it with a Mini Reflex Sight and Dual Port Brake beside the FAL. Strider calls it the Glock 18.
