Wardogs has 10 Steam achievements: two in the Tutorial (one of them hidden), three about cash, three about combat, and two about winning and surviving in the Control Zone. The most common is "This is WARDOGS" for finishing the Tutorial, held by 81.0% of players on Oct 26, 2026; the rarest is "Big Spender," which Steam shows at 0.0%. None depends on a season, so a wipe does not stop you earning any of them. Names and descriptions below are exactly as Steam lists them.

The Tutorial pair, and the hidden one
First boot offers "Play Tutorial" before matchmaking, and Insider Gaming recommends it because it explains the rules and the money systems; finishing it gives "This is WARDOGS." The hidden achievement, "That was rude," is in the same place: punch Kristopher, a character in the Tutorial, per Steam's description. Do it before you leave, since you can quit the Tutorial from the pause menu. More in the Beginner's Guide.
Top Dog and the cash achievements
"Top Dog" needs the highest earnings of anyone in the match, across all three teams, which 10.4% of players have. The jobs that earn most without dying are the best route: PC Gamer's medic made $62,215 in one 50-minute match on the winning team, and its beta pilot ranked in the top five with over $35,000 and no kills. "Fat Stacks" asks for $100,000 profit in one life, so it rewards one long life of revives, deliveries or zone time more than a lucky streak; the counter beside your balance shows the current life's profit. Both are covered on the Money Making Guide. In the clip Bulkhead says a player on the losing team can still earn more than the winners.
"Big Spender" asks for $100,000 on a single loadout, and Steam shows it at 0.0%. No source explains why: it may simply be very hard, or bugged. Even the priciest infantry items are far short of it at Season 2 prices: Level 4 Armor $5,000, the Level 4 Helmet $4,500 and the AMR 50 $14,800, and the Havoc, the dearest vehicle, $28,000. Whether vehicles bought with a loadout count toward the total is not stated as of Oct 26, 2026. Prices are on Economy and Cash.
The combat achievements
"Long Shot" needs a kill from over 950 m, which points to the Sniper and Marksman Rifles and a high spot overlooking the zone; the Sniper Guide covers rifles, scopes and positions. "Ricochet" needs a kill with a ricocheting bullet, and 28.7% of players have it, the most common after finishing the Tutorial. "Do Not Resuscitate" asks you to kill an enemy with the defibrillator's charge; in Season 2 the Defibrillator unlocks at Medic 22 for $110,000 and costs $1,600 at the vendor, per Dexerto's Wardogs database. See Medic.
Clean Sweep and CZ Survivor
"Clean Sweep" means winning before either other team scores a single point, so your team must hold the most players in the zone from the first tick to 100 (see Control Zone and Scoring). "CZ Survivor" needs 60 minutes in the Control Zone without dying, which also needs a long match: PC Gamer timed one at 50 minutes, and Kotaku described matches of "an hour or more". Heavy armor, a medic nearby and a building with walls help; see Armor and Gear and Healing and Revives.
Frequently asked questions
How many achievements does Wardogs have? Wardogs has 10 Steam achievements, one of them hidden. None is tied to a season, so wipes do not affect them.
What is the hidden achievement in Wardogs? The hidden Wardogs achievement is "That was rude": punch Kristopher in the Tutorial. 17.6% of players had it on Oct 26, 2026.
How do you get Top Dog in Wardogs? Finish a match as the top cash earner across all three teams. Long lives spent reviving, transporting or delivering supplies earn the most, so a medic or pilot who rarely dies has the best chance.
What is the rarest achievement in Wardogs? "Big Spender," spending $100,000 on a single loadout, which Steam showed at 0.0% on Oct 26, 2026. No source says whether it is bugged or simply very rare.
How do you get Long Shot in Wardogs? Kill an enemy player from more than 950 m away, which in practice means a sniper rifle with a long-range scope and a high vantage point.
Are Wardogs achievements reset at a wipe? Steam achievements are kept on your Steam account, and no Bulkhead post says a Wardogs season wipe removes them as of Oct 26, 2026. A wipe resets cash, levels and role XP.

Beginner's GuideIn your first hours of Wardogs, play the tutorial and the Firing Range, join a squad, buy a cheap kit (extra magazines, bandages, a dot sight, binoculars) instead of spending your $10,000 at once, ride a helicopter to the zone, stand in it, and wait for revives instead of giving up. Most of your money comes from teamwork, not kills. -
Money Making GuideThe best ways to make money in Wardogs are teamplay jobs that keep you alive, as PC Gamer, PCGamesN, TheGamer, Shacknews and Dexerto recommend them: hold the Hot Zone (double cash), revive as a medic, ferry players and supplies, drive the spawn APC, sell from supply crates and destroy enemy vehicles and FOBs. Season 2 (Oct 15, 2026) halved base logistics pay but added delivery streaks, and cut spotting by about 30%.
-
Economy and CashEvery Wardogs player starts with $10,000, buys a whole loadout every life, loses it on death and earns cash back through teamplay (zone time, revives, transport, logistics, spotting, kills); the balance carries from match to match until a season ends. Since Season 2 (Oct 15, 2026) logistics pay lower base rates plus delivery streaks, spotting pays about 30% less, and vehicle and armor prices went up. -
Sniper and Marksman RiflesWardogs has five sniper rifles (Scout Rifle TD, Mosin Nagant, SV98, MK22, AMR 50) and four marksman rifles (SKS, SVD, BMR-308 and Season 2's M14), all but the Scout on the Recon track, from the SKS at Recon 5 for $25,000 to the $14,800 AMR 50 at Recon 35. September tier lists rated the SVD and BMR-308 highest; Season 2 then cut 7.62x54mmR and .308 damage and raised sniper hit-location damage. -
Sniper GuideSniping in Wardogs is the Recon track: start with the SKS at Recon 5, move to the SV98 at Recon 18 and the AMR 50 at Recon 35, add the ghillie suit at Recon 26, and shoot from high ground such as Bakurani's hilltop church. Season 2 cut big-caliber damage but raised sniper hit-location damage. -
MedicMedic is the Wardogs progression track for healing and reviving teammates. In Season 2 it starts with the PP-19 Bizon and unlocks the Field Resuscitator at level 2, the MP5 at 4, the Medical Bag at 14, the Defibrillator at 22 for $110,000 and the Super-45 at 35.
