Helicopters
Wardogs has six helicopters in Season 2: the MH-6 Little Bird transport every pilot starts with ($6,250), the 13-seat Z20 Lakota ($7,400, Pilot 10), the Lakota with miniguns, the AH-6M and AH-6R attack Little Birds, and the Havoc attack helicopter ($28,000, Pilot 35 for $650,000). Season 2 raised the attack helicopters' prices.
Wardogs has six helicopters in Season 2, all on the Pilot track: the MH-6 Little Bird, the Z20 Lakota and the Z20 Lakota [Miniguns] for carrying players, and the Little Bird AH-6M [Miniguns], Little Bird AH-6R [Rockets] and Havoc for attacking, as Dexerto's vehicle database and Bulkhead's Season 2 patch notes list them. Every pilot starts in the MH-6, which GamesRadar+ calls starting "as a taxi"; the others need Pilot levels and a one-time cash unlock. Season 2 (Oct 15, 2026) raised the price of every armed helicopter and moved the minigun Little Bird later in the track. How to fly them is on Helicopter Flying Guide.

MH-6 Little Bird
The MH-6 is the small black transport helicopter with outside benches that every player can fly from the start: six seats, $6,250 a life, 350 km/h and 105 liters of fuel at 4.4 liters per kilometer, per Dexerto. It can also carry two small supply crates on its sides, which Shacknews notes leaves no room for four squadmates. The Supporter Pack includes a Little Bird "Taxi" camo, and Season 2's Gold Market added a Black & Gold Little Bird camo, a Season 2 exclusive (Season 2 notes); see Gold Bars and the Gold Market.
Z20 Lakota
The Z20 Lakota is the big transport: 13 seats, which GameSpot splits into two crew and 11 passengers, a top speed of 445 km/h, the fastest of any vehicle in Dexerto's database, and $7,400 a life. It unlocks at Pilot 10 for $35,000, cut from $50,000 for launch in the Season 1 changelog, which also gave it a balance pass and fixed its sluggish pitch. It can carry whole supply pallets, as can the Ural truck (Shacknews). Destructoid called it the most efficient passenger vehicle, and KeenGamer put it in S tier in Season 1. The Z20 Lakota [Miniguns] adds two door miniguns for $15,000 a life (it was $8,000) and unlocks at Pilot 25 for $85,000 in Season 2.
Attack Little Birds
The Little Bird AH-6M [Miniguns] carries two M134D miniguns and two seats. Season 2 moved it from Pilot 4 to Pilot 8 and raised its unlock from $50,000 to $125,000 because it "was too strong for how early it unlocked", and its price from $7,000 to $12,000; its miniguns also took the Season 2 caliber damage cuts. The Little Bird AH-6R [Rockets] swaps the guns for two B-13 rocket pods at $18,800 a life (was $12,500), unlocking at Pilot 20 for $250,000. KeenGamer ranked the minigun version A tier and the rocket version C tier in Season 1.
Havoc
The Havoc is the heavily armored attack helicopter at the top of the Pilot track: two seats, B-13 rocket pods and a 2A42 autocannon, 400 km/h, $28,000 a life since Season 2 (it was $18,000) and an unlock at Pilot 35 for $650,000 (was $500,000), per Bulkhead's notes. KeenGamer listed it with 800 HP, 122mm rockets, a 30mm cannon and two flares in Season 1. It is the endgame vehicle players complain about most: Bulkhead CEO Joe Brammer said, as PCGamesN reported on Oct 25, 2026, that "you finally shoot down a Havoc, one minute later a Havoc appears," because a rich pilot simply rebuys it. Bulkhead has no fix yet, and Lead Game Designer Pete Harries floated fuel as part of an answer. A Two-Tone Desert Havoc camo is in the Season 2 Gold Market.
Anti-air threats
Helicopters have four ground threats in Season 2, with prices from Bulkhead's notes and Dexerto:
- 9K333 Verba: a single-use infrared-homing missile that "exclusively targets locked-on aerial vehicles", $800, effective range 1,000 m, unlocked at Support 14 for $50,000. See Launchers and Explosives.
- Talon 9K-SAM: a heat-seeking missile station built at an FOB for 650 build supplies; Season 2 slowed its reload from 2 to 5 seconds.
- Vanguard CIWS: a manned 20x102mm anti-air gun for 1,200 build supplies. After an overcorrection, Bulkhead's Oct 2 hotfix made it kill a Havoc in about 6 seconds instead of 12. Both stations are on Building and Fortifications.
- Flakpanzer Gepard: the anti-air tank with twin 35mm cannons added in Season 2 (Tanks and Artillery).
Flares are the defense: $750 for three bursts, fired with V and bought, like helicopter ammo, from the shop opened by holding B at HQ (GamesRadar+). Since Season 2, shooting out through the cockpit glass damages your own helicopter the same as incoming fire, and since update 0.1.2 grenades and C4 cannot be thrown from enclosed seats (0.1.2 notes). Update 0.1.2 also fixed a bug that made the Havoc take extra damage from 20mm and 30mm cannons.
Making money as a pilot
Transport flying is one of the steadiest incomes in Wardogs. In the beta, PC Gamer watched a pilot make over $35,000 in about 40 minutes with zero kills, ranking in the top five. Dexerto's early Season 1 figure was $450 a drop-off plus $500 if the passenger survives; pilots also earn assist cash when passengers go on to get kills, and tips (PC Gamer). Season 2 cut the base rate for a player delivered from $150 to $100, but added a streak of +$25 and +5 XP for each player in a row, up to 25, and pays crate and pallet deliveries ($250 and $500 for crates, $1,250 for a pallet) with their own streaks. Pilot XP comes from passengers who jump out, more if they land alive (GamesRadar+). Repairs, fuel and ammo at HQ come out of your cash, so a lost helicopter is a real cost. PilotPilot is the Wardogs progression track for helicopters. Everyone starts with the MH-6 Little Bird transport; in Season 2 the track unlocks the AH-6M [Miniguns] at level 8, the Z20 Lakota at 10, the AH-6R [Rockets] at 20, the Z20 Lakota [Miniguns] at 25 and the Havoc attack helicopter at 35 for $650,000. -
Helicopter Flying GuideTo fly a helicopter in Wardogs, unlock it with L, raise the collective (Left Shift by default in GamesRadar+'s and Shacknews' lists, Space in Dexerto's), then pitch with W and S, roll with A and D and yaw with Q and E. Guides say to practice in the Firing Range first and to try a controller or mouse flight. -
Gold Bars and the Gold MarketGold Bars are Wardogs' endgame currency: you get them by exchanging in-game cash, and leftover cash turns into Gold Bars at the end of a season, so they survive wipes. They are spent on camos in the Gold Market, which unlocks at Wardog level 35 for $150,000 in Season 2. Bulkhead has pledged never to sell cash, Gold Bars or camos for real money.

Launchers and ExplosivesWardogs has four launchers on the Support track in Season 2, the RPG-7 (Support 6, $1,800), 9K333 Verba anti-air missile (Support 14, $800), MAAWS (Support 18, $2,400) and MGL-40 grenade launcher (Support 35, $7,500), plus the $200 M67 frag, Season 2's Molotov, C4 with a Remote Detonator (Assault 4), IEDs, Claymores, AT mines and smoke and signal grenades. -
Building and FortificationsIn Wardogs you build with a hammer and build supplies ($10 each), mostly inside a Forward Operating Base ($7,500), whose radius lets your team build and keeps enemies from building. In Season 2 a Bremmer wall costs 32 supplies for 6,500 health, a mortar 600, a Talon SAM 650 and a Vanguard CIWS 1,200.

Tanks and ArtilleryWardogs has four tracked combat vehicles in Season 2, all on the Driver track: the T-72B3 tank ($16,000, Driver 20), the L2A6 heavy tank ($22,000, Driver 35), the Flakpanzer Gepard anti-air tank ($14,000, Driver 25) and the SPH-2 artillery tank ($8,000, Driver 31). Artillery is aimed by compass bearing and range from the map.
